Author Guidelines

INJALA: International Journal of Islamic Law and Legal Studies

  1. Submission
    Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal website:
    https://ejournalmediafikra.id/index.php/Injala/en

  2. Language and Originality
    The manuscript should be written in English (or Indonesian for selected issues) and must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal.

  3. Manuscript Identity
    The manuscript must include: title, full name(s) of the author(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address of the corresponding author, abstract, and keywords.

  4. Article Structure
    The structure of empirical research articles consists of: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

  5. Introduction
    The introduction consists of the research background, research problems, brief review of relevant previous studies, identification of the knowledge gap, and research objectives. It is written as a single section without subheadings.

  6. Method
    The method section describes the research design, data sources, population and sample (if applicable), data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. It is written in paragraph form.

  7. Results and Discussion
    Authors should present original research findings derived from field data such as interviews, observations, surveys, documents, or other relevant data collection techniques. Findings must be presented comprehensively and aligned with the defined research scope. Results may be supported by tables, figures, and/or diagrams.

    The results of data analysis must be explained clearly and accurately. The discussion should logically interpret the findings and relate them to relevant scholarly sources, theories, and previous studies in Islamic law and legal studies.

  8. Conclusion
    The conclusion contains a concise summary of the findings and discussion, presented in a brief, narrative, and conceptual form. Avoid the use of bullet points or numbering.

  9. References
    Citations and references must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) Style, 6th Edition, and authors are required to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley or Zotero). All cited sources must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  10. Template
    Manuscripts must be prepared according to the INJALA author guidelines and journal template.
