Peer Review Process

Impacta: Journal of Community Impact and Social Transformation


Impacta applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, objectivity, and academic integrity of all published articles.


Review Stages

  1. Initial Screening
    The editor reviews each submission to ensure it fits the journal’s scope, follows author guidelines, and meets basic academic standards, including plagiarism checking.
  2. Peer Review
    Manuscripts that pass screening are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewer and author identities remain confidential.
  3. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor decides whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected.
  4. Revision
    Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit it for further evaluation if needed.

Review Outcomes

Possible editorial decisions include: - Accepted - Minor revision - Major revision - Rejected


Ethical Principles
